Gosh it has been a long time between posts on here. More up to date things are happening on social media, but this is a good spot to share big things. So here we…….

The Nest is Moving
On the 31st August, I take over a sub lease with Wired Active. I have 2 lovely, sunny rooms at the back of the building (stairs entrance off Wellington Street, and Wheelchair access from Waimea Road). It will be really different being in this new space, but I am really looking forward to it!
We are Getting a Facelift
Very soon, Emma Makes Music and The Nest will be getting a fresh new look, courtesy of the amazing Jessica at Said&Done Media. So, keep your eyes peeled for fresh fonts, logos, and beautiful advertising
New Resource Avaliable
I’ve needed to revisit how my resources are being made available for educators, so I have had a bit idea. Very soon I will be making public my new resource sharing idea. This is a great addition to workshops or consultation that I provide and mean that I can share videos and PDF’s alongside my music to enhance your use of music in your space.
More Session Times Available at The Nest
With having a space available all the time, I am able to offer MORE sessions at The Nest. Once some referrals are finalised, a booking form will be made available
The Big Consulting Package
Another big thing that is happening is the consultation package I have created alongside a school in Nelson has taken off, with 1 other being confirmed, and another applying for funding.
The idea is basically a way to make my services more accessible AND affordable through
-workshopping - training - writing - recording - planning - more training -
stepping back…..
- and popping back in on a regular basis to see how the programme is running. Contracts are a year in duration to start with, and the ability to empower your staff is massive! It is exciting times, that is for sure!
So, quite big things - so much progress and so much more to do, that I have decided to keep going!
